I am Johnny Ray Shumway Jr. I love game development, art, and am now exploring cybersecurity. I currently live in Moultrie, Georgia, where I’ve been for nearly a year.
My tagline: "Imagination speaks for the mind."
Most of my interests stem from an early involvement with computers. My dad got me my first computer and a game called 4x4 Evolution 2, which completely amazed me. From that point on, I wanted to learn my computer and the games I played. Around age 9 or 10, I discovered Batch Scripting and went down the rabbit hole from there.
I’m currently developing my skills in cybersecurity and game development. Art takes a back seat, though I still enjoy it occasionally.
When I was younger, my main goal was impressing my friends—I loved seeing their shocked reactions. That curiosity and drive led me to learn more complicated things, like creating games in CMD, and eventually discovering Unity at age 14.
The main lessons I’ve learned so far are: Start Small, Be Patient, and It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Outside of technology, I have a strong interest in nature. I enjoy hiking, camping, and hope to study plants eventually—wild edibles, medicinal plants, poisonous plants, trees, and more.
I follow several philosophies and am religious in a sense. I’m a Christian, though I strive to remain open-minded and inclusive. Some quotes I value:
I enjoy hiking, camping, gaming, programming, listening to music, and reminiscing about my favorite memories.
